There have been 6 international protests against Scientology organized on
the internet, the first on Sept. 9, 1995 , the second protest on March 9, 1996, the third
March of 1997, the 4th December 5-6 1997, the 5th was March 13-14, 1998, and the 6th
December 4-6, 1998. Our first demonstration is believed to be the first international
protest organized on the internet, and the first international protest against
Scientology.
The church has used Temporary Restraining Orders to stop people from
picketing the church, thus indicating what they think of freedom of speech.
They have resorted to revenge picketing critics' homes as well.
